This precision tool provides smooth, uniform flares with
minimum effort. Hardened steel flaring cone,
eccentrically mounted in needs bearings, produces
rolling action for even metal flow. Handle clutch
releases when flare is complete to iron and smooth
flare. Off-center hardened steel cone with 45° flare
produces a rolling action for uniform flare walls without
galling in 1/4″ to 3/4″ O.D. tubing. Large feed screw
handle for smooth turning with little effort. Black oxidefinished steel flaring bars are heat-treated for durability
and secure grip on tubing. Recommended for soft
materials such as copper and aluminum. Built-in clutch
release to prevent over-torking
